My journey began in the Spokane Valley, growing up on a farm where my mom and grandma taught me to sew, crochet, and make all kinds of crafty things at a very young age. I created signs for some storefronts and took some classes learning to paint in oils, this was back in the 1980's when all of the works had to be drawn out by hand. My initial experience still influences my work today, as I still sketch out all of my designs on paper or canvas before scanning them to my computer and digitizing them.
I received my degree from Skagit Valley College in March 2017 in Multimedia and Interactive Technology with a focus on graphic design and have gained professional design experience doing freelance work for SeaNav, designing underwater navigation images for their new product: SeaScape with SoundTracks. I work independently and with other local artists to design, print and ship high-end, authentic graphic design projects for clients through print and web applications.
